As you all can see from the fab Pics winners are grinners in the Inaugural Summer Classic tournament held at Varsity Lakes CBD Hotel today. The Open Final was a fantastic “double-fest” and Steve Roberts overcame Sasha Senica in a tight one with the 11pt final cube on 8!! Tatiana Morgan And Linda Appleby fought out The Summer Classic Intermediate in tight tussle with a 2 cube deciding it from 7-7 in a 9 pt final. There were 3x7pt $5 8 player consolation comps also, Max Leishman defeated Dave Rees in the A Final, Lorraine Fox defeated Trudi Hemetsberger in the B Final and Damien Ingwersen defeated the improving Janet Newton in the C Final. Congrats to ALL those in the $$$ on what was a really fab GCBC Backgammon Fest !!
